MC9 Interior
October, 2003

Amazingly, after looking at more than a dozen coaches and not finding what I wanted, this one appeared one day. The moment I walked inside I knew this was the candidate. She was clean, smelled fresh and had practically no rust anywhere. A fresh 8V71 Reliabilt Detroit Diesel Engine and decent tires.

Just back from charter service and ready for a few million miles as a bus conversion motorhome!

New Worlds to Imagine

Evangelina is a 1982 MCI MC9, which up until very recently was the all-time most popular coach on the planet. Forty feet long with more than 15 tons of Stainless Steel, Aluminum and Big Iron.

Before she was mine, I spent several weekends at the Dallas branch of MCI (Motor Coach Industries) getting to know her. To become the owner of such a beast of a BUS was a mighty daunting decision, believe me!
